The Role

As a Digital Media Buyer, the candidate will be responsible for the creation, execution, management, and optimization of all digital marketing campaigns and initiatives across all channels to drive customer engagement and product sales.

The Digital Media Buyer will have 20+ direct reports – from creative (video, image, copy-writing) to Media Buying (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google, etc.). As such, experience with all facets of marketing is a must. This position is for a strategic thinker with hands-on capabilities.

It is important that this individual entails both an analytical mindset to leverage data and deliver ROI driven performance results AND a creative mindset to plan and execute marketing campaigns. This candidate must also have great copy-writing abilities to supervise copywriters on best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style.


Requirements

  • Experience within a digital marketing agency or eCommerce company having progressed as media buyer
  • Experience with marketing and selling products
  • Creation, execution, management, and optimization of all digital marketing campaigns and initiatives across all channels to drive customer engagement and product sales
  • Able to provide in-depth, actionable reports on campaign performance as well as industry trends 
  • Knowledge sharing: stays up to date with industry trends and news and proactively shares knowledge across the team
  • Creative mindset
  • Ability to leverage data and deliver ROI driven performance results
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Strong strategic thinking with hands-on capabilities
  • Resourceful, proactive, and a problem-solver 
  • Always looking at ways to improve campaigns and test new channels/tactics that come up
  • Strong team player

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in:
    • Facebook / Instagram Ads 
      • Experience across multiple campaigns types - DPA’s, Lead Generation, Awareness, etc
    • Google Ads, Shopping, Display, and Retargeting 
    • Microsoft ads
    • YouTube advertising
    • LinkedIn advertising
    • Programmatic buying
      • Inclusive of pixel implementation, conversion tracking, ecommerce campaigns, and lead generation campaigns
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in:
    • Email Marketing (preferably Listrak)
    • Lead Generation Experience
    • Marketplace advertising (Amazon & eBay)
    • SEO 
    • Affiliate Marketing
    • Experience in additional social channels - ie Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat, etc
  • Well Versed in Google Analytics 
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager
  • Bonus (not required):
    • Ad serving (campaign manager or an alternative like eyereturn)
    • DV360 experience 
    • Experience with media research (e-marketer, Comscore, Nielsen) and vendor relations (ie working with direct buy vendors and programmatic vendors)
